Since 2009, we have sought to better connect alumni of the Naval Medical Center San Diego Orthopaedic Residency Program.

Our Mission

The mission of the Balboa Orthopaedic Alumni Association is to foster relationships among graduates of the program, friends and family of Balboa Ortho through distribution of news, event planning, and helping to promote interaction between alumni, current faculty and current residents. The Foundation also seeks to support academic and social opportunities for active residents while maximizing alumni engagement to ensure the program continues to have a well-informed group of advocates.

The Balboa Orthopaedic Alumni Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports the Naval Medical Center San Diego orthopaedic surgery residency program and its graduates.  The association relies on charitable giving to maintain its ability to perform its core functions.
