This past week the AAOS Annual Meeting was hosted in San Diego, CA. From all reports, it was quite a successful meeting for everyone. We had a great alumni reception with a fantastic turnout. Once again, we'd like to thank Jim Maxwell and his wonderful wife for all the hard work that went into making such a successful event.
In other AAOS meeting news, members of the NMCSD PGY4 resident class came out victorious in the national resident knowledge bowl put on by the academy. Of 25 national teams, NMCSD was the top!
Finally, we'd like to welcome back everyone to the alumni website. Over the last year or two, there's been a goal of revamping our newsletters, events, and website so that we can better engage our alumni and make sure everyone keeps up with the program. Over the next several months, look out for more regular updates and for the planning of additional events to help engage our alumni.
